LODGE RULES

Info about check-in, check-out, do’s, do-nots, trash removal, pets, smoking,
and everything else you might like to know about.

CHECK IN TIME

Check in is 4pm Eastern Standard Time. You will receive a personalized code for the Wi-Fi enabled locks a day or two before arrival. They will have a specific time for functionality.
Early Check-in is available with Pre-Approval depending on availability.

CHECK OUT TIME

Check out time is 10:30am. The personalized code for the Wi-Fi enabled locks will no longer work 15 minutes after your established check out time.

Late check is also available with Pre-Approval.

Check Out Procedure

SMOKING

Smoking indoors is NOT allowed. However, you’re welcome… No… Encouraged… to enjoy a good cigar by the fire-pit.

DAMAGE

We understand that accidents happen. Please let us know AS SOON AS POSSIBLE if something is broken or damaged so that we can quickly resolve the issue for you and for the next guest.

LIQUID DETERGENT ONLY

LIQUID DETERGENT ONLY for the washing machine and dishwasher. We are on a septic system and therefore must use all liquid detergents. Ignore this rule at your own peril…

TRASH DISPOSAL THAT DOESN’T ATTRACT BEARS

Trash left outside is a bad idea as it will attract bears. This bear visited our front porch earlier this year.
Please take out the trash.The dumpster is located across from the driveway. We will send you the code to the locks upon your arrival. Please do not share the codes with anyone.

PARKING

Please park in the paved driveway by the garage or on the gravel by the detached garage, but do NOT block the shared gravel driveway. Our neighbors need pass-through access to their homes as well.

DOGS

With 2 flat acres, a large fenced in area, and reasonably quiet road Cherry Blossom Lodge is very dog friendly.
Each dog is $100 per stay, no matter how long the stay.
With Dogs we have 2 requests. First, the Leather Chesterfield sofas in the Lodge room were shipped in from the U.K. They are very difficult to repair or replace. If you’d help us keep your 4 legged family members off those 3 pieces of furniture please. Everywhere else is no problem!
Second, please clean up any indoor messes they create before checking out.
